The Source Record page gives Admins a single place to view all available source data imported from your integration including mapped and unmapped fields, related QuotaPath deals, and any user-generated or QuotaPath-generated fields associated with that particular record.
When to use this page
Use the Source Record page when you want to:
Troubleshoot a missing QuotaPath deal
Validate what data came in from your integration source for a specific record
Inspect mapped vs unmapped fields quickly
Confirm field values before troubleshooting a missing record
How to access
This page is only visible to Admins
Any Record ID link in QuotaPath will take you to this page
For example, you can navigate to this page from a deal by clicking on its record ID, or from tables that display a hyperlinked record ID
Top-level record summary
At the top of the page, you’ll see key identifying information for the record. Use this section to confirm you are looking at the correct source record:
Name of the source record that is equivalent to the corresponding QuotaPath deal(s)
ID of the record
Source link (click to open in your CRM)
Object
Last updated timestamp that refers to when data was last changed for this record from your source
Analyze Mapping
At the top right corner of the page, you will also see a button to Analyze Mapping, which will allow you to analyze this source record against mappings you have created.
This is most useful when trying to troubleshoot why a particular record doesn’t have any associated QuotaPath deals, or why you might not be seeing a particular deal associated with an expected component.
You can select a component that you are looking to analyze against this source record to see why it is or is not creating a QuotaPath deal
Select from the list or search by plan, component, or mapping
You can also use the dropdown to narrow down results by selecting a specific plan
Once you select a component, the Mapping Analyzer will display whether or not this record met the criteria set for the mapping used by this component in order for a QuotaPath deal to be created
In this example, a QuotaPath deal was not created because it didn’t match one of the filters set
Below the message, you can review your mapping settings and if the actual record value matched the criteria you set, it will display in green
If the actual record value did not match the criteria you set, it will be in red and this will explain why a QuotaPath deal was not created
You can also expand the top section by clicking “View More” to reveal additional field data
Source Record Tab
There are two tables within this tab:
Record Summary
Calculated Fields
There is also a link to View All Source Records, where you can view all of the raw data associated with your object for deeper analysis
Record Summary Table
Shows all available source fields for that record.
Fields are grouped and sorted by mapped fields that surface at the top in green for easier visibility
Search to quickly locate a specific field by name
View All Source Records links back to the full Source Data Viewer
Use this table to quickly inspect field values and identify what is or isn’t present in the source data for the record.
Calculated Fields Table
Displays any calculated field associated with the source object including:
Workspace Admin-created fields
Custom fields generated by our QuotaPath team
A few things to note:
This table is view only; edits must be done from the builder
You’ll see who created each field Workspace Admin for fields created prior to these updates being released, actual Admin username for new fields created after this update has been released, or QP Solutions for fields created by our team
Formulas do not display for QuotaPath-generated fields
Deals tab
Shows all related QuotaPath deals associated with this source record. Use this tab to understand which QuotaPath deal(s) were generated from this record
