Just as QuotaPath displays and calculates earnings for Closed Won deals, it can also display and allow forecasting on pipeline deals as you define them. This motivates reps by showing them exactly what they will earn should they close a deal currently in pipeline.
On the Earnings and Attainment pages, there are tables specifically for pipeline deals. To find these Pipeline tables on those pages, simply scroll down past the visuals, the goals (if applicable), and the Closed Won deal table.
Blank Pipeline
If the Pipeline tables are blank (have no deals), it means that one of the following is true:
No criteria were input in the plan component mappings for pipeline stage
No deals are currently meeting the criteria in your pipeline stage mapping
Once you have set up correct conditions in your Pipeline Stage mapping, you'll see Pipeline deals available for forecasting on the Earnings and Attainment pages.
Adding Pipeline criteria to your Mappings
Just as every mapping needs Closed Won criteria, if you want Pipeline deals to show, each mapping also needs Pipeline stage criteria.
Add these applicable stages by going to the Plan you need Pipeline for, clicking on the component(s), and scrolling down to click "Edit" on the data source mapping. Go to the Stages screen of the mapping modal and define the criteria for Pipeline deals in the Pipeline Stages section.
Each mapping can have different pipeline criteria, so five different components on a plan could have five different mappings and five different sets of pipeline stage criteria.

Once you have correctly set up pipeline stage definitions for your components and plans, you will start to see the pipeline deal tables on the Earnings and Attainment tab populate. Once those tables are populated, users will be able to check the boxes in each row on the left, and click Forecast Pipeline to view their potential earnings.
