How to View Your Team’s Earnings & Attainment
This article walks you through how, as a team manager in QuotaPath, you can view your team’s earnings and attainment.
Confirm Team Setup
First, confirm your team setup. Head over to the Teams page. You will see any team you are a member of or a manager of. If you do not see a specific team, reach out to your Admin to make sure everything is set up correctly.
Click into a team to see the team details, any leaderboards that have been set up, and the data the leaderboards are mapped to.
Click Managers to see your manager permissions. Full permissions give you the ability to approve deals and see team members’ earnings. Standard permissions give you access to view team members’ earnings, but you will not be able to approve their deals. Limited access lets you only see attainment.
Troubleshoot missing Team views
If the team tab is not appearing on the Attainment and/or Earnings pages, it's because you have either not created any teams on the Teams page or do not have the adequate permissions to view the team view.
If you are an admin and cannot see the team tab, go to the teams page and set up the teams you wish to view attainment for. Be sure to add team managers if you want them to be able to view as well.
If your role is Team Manager and you cannot see the Team Attainment tab or Team Earnings, you will need to ask your admin to set you up as a team manager with either standard or full permissions on the Teams page. Standard permissions will allow you to see attainment and earnings, and full permissions will allow you to additionally approve earnings.
If you are a Member (not Team Manager or Admin) and want to view a team attainment leaderboard, you will need to request that your Admin set up teams and leaderboards on the Teams page.
View Team Members’ Earnings
If you have Full or Standard Permissions, head over to the Earnings tab. At the top, you will see an individual and a team tab. Without Full or Standard permissions, you will only see an Individual tab and only be able to see your own earnings. With those Full or Standard permissions, on the individual tab, you can use the View As dropdown to switch between your team members or yourself.
Just below the filters, you will see the earnings for the time period you are filtered on. You can filter for different time periods and select specific components you want to see the data for.
The top of the page shows an overview of the earnings for that period, including the quota assigned and the earnings per component that rolls up to that quota.
Scroll down and you will see a table of all the closed-won deals for the period. To better understand why a rep is earning what they are earning on a particular deal, click into the deal to see the earnings detail.
On the Team tab at the top, you get a summary of the total earnings for your team, including a breakdown by pipeline status (Closed Won, Pipeline, Closed Lost).
View Team Attainment
Now over to the attainment page. If you have a team assigned to you and a Leaderboard has been set up for the team, you should see a Leaderboard tab at the top. Here you can view how the team is performing from an attainment perspective. You will see a team overview of attainment for the period, as well as how much is currently in pipeline. You can also see how the team stacks up against each other. Click into any individual to see the deals rolling up to them from closed-won or pipeline.
