Learn how Team Managers can approve their Team's Deals

How to Approve Your Team's Deals

This article walks you through how, as a team manager in QuotaPath, you can approve your team’s deals.

Verify Your Role and Team Setup

Before you get started, check the following:

  1. Your role – head over to the Members page and search for yourself. Confirm your workspace role is set to team manager. If it is not set correctly, reach out to your admin.

  2. Your team setup – click into Teams and confirm all of your team members are listed. If a team member is missing, reach out to your admin to get that team member assigned to your team.

  3. Your permissions – as a team manager, you can only approve your team’s deals if you are set to full permissions. If you are supposed to be approving deals and have standard or limited access, reach out to your admin for the update.

Approve Deals on the Approvals Page

Once you have verified all of that, head over to the Approvals page. Here you can filter on your team, switch between team members, filter on specific components, and filter between dates.

A couple of things you are able to do from this page: you can rearrange the columns, and you can pin data to the left or right. For example, you can pin the earnings column to the right so that you can always view earnings while looking at other data points. To pin a column, find the column you want to pin, click in, hover over Pin, and then choose pin to the right or to the left.

If you click into any individual, you will see that individual’s deal set up. Again, you can pin columns to the right or left and rearrange them as needed so it is as easy as possible to take action.

You can approve deals in a couple of ways:

  • Individually – click Approve on the deal. Once approved, the deal will no longer show on this page and will head over to the Payouts page, where admins can schedule the payouts for that deal.

  • In bulk – select the deals you want to approve, verify that everything looks good for each team member, and click Approve. You can approve across all team members or for specific team members.

Once the deals have been approved, they will no longer appear here. All of those deals are now in the payouts tab, ready for admins to schedule payouts for your team members.

That is how you approve your team’s deals in QuotaPath.
