How to Request Plan Verification

This article walks you through how to request plan verification in QuotaPath.

Plan verification automates the rep sign-off process for their comp plans, replacing manual or external e-signature tools. It also gives you a historical record of when each rep viewed and signed off on their comp plan.

Prepare the Plan

Head to Plans and select the plan you want to have verified. Make sure everything is set up for that plan, including individual quotas and rates.

Upload a Plan Document (Optional)

  1. Click Choose a File and select the document you want to upload. Make sure it is a generic boilerplate document, because each individual will receive that same document.

  2. Once uploaded, you can view it if you would like.

  3. Click Save.

Once saved, you will see your plan document. You can edit the document here if needed. This is also where you can initiate the plan verification request.

Send the Verification Request

Another place to start the verification is from the Plans list. If you do not have a document to attach, click the three dots next to the plan and click Request Plan Verification.

  1. Click Request Plan Verification, then click Next.

  2. Review the preview of what the rep will see — the document, the plan, individual quotas and rates. You can include variable pay and, if you have base salary included in the rep details, that as well.

  3. Click Send Verification.

Once you send the verification, each rep will get an email about the plan verification request. They will also see it on their QuotaPath home page, where they can take action directly if they miss the email.

Track and Review Sign-Offs

Back at the plan level, you can click in to see who has or has not verified their plan. If you need to resend the request, click Send Verification Reminder for anyone who has not yet signed.

Once someone has signed their plan, you will see a green checkmark and the date they signed the plan. Click into a rep to view when they signed, then click Next and click Print to generate a document of their comp plan, the attached document, and their signature with the date signed. You can save it as a PDF or print it out.

That is how you send a plan verification request in QuotaPath.
