How to view your Approved Deals & Payouts

This article walks through how to view the Approvals page and the Payouts page in QuotaPath.

Approvals Page

To start, navigate to the Approvals page. This page may look different depending on whether your workspace has the approvals workflow set up and whether you are part of that workflow. In this example, the user is part of the approvals workflow and has some deals in their inbox, along with deals further along the workflow that need to be approved.

You can filter the page by dates and by different components to view the deals that need to be approved. Click on a deal to scroll through and see all the details related to it.

You can also pin important columns. Click the three dots and select Pin to the Right to keep a column visible. Pinning your earnings or rates columns makes it easier to see the important details of each deal and decide whether they are ready to be approved.

Once you determine that a deal is ready to be approved, click Approve. The deal will move to the next step of the approval process and wait for those approvers to take action. The next step shows the deals that have been approved at your stage, with the action still pending for the next approver.

Payouts Page

Once a deal has been fully approved by everyone in the workflow, it moves to the Payouts page. This page is broken into two categories:

  • Earned – deals that have been approved but not yet scheduled to be paid out. You can filter on deal dates (the closed won date), components, and plans.

  • Resolved – deals that have been scheduled to be paid out. The major difference between the Earned and Resolved tabs is that the Resolved tab filters on the payout date rather than the deal date. For example, you may be looking at payouts that happen this month, but the deals themselves could have closed on different dates.

Once a deal has been scheduled to be paid out, it no longer appears on the Earned tab — instead, it shows up on the Resolved tab.
