How to Flag Your Deals

This article walks you through how to flag a deal to your team manager or admin in QuotaPath.

Find the Deal

If you believe that a deal’s details or earnings are incorrect and you would like to dispute it, navigate to the Deals page. Use the date filter at the top to filter on a particular period to find the deal. You can also search for any deal using the search bar.

Flag the Deal

  1. Click the three dots on the left-hand side of the deal and select Flag Deal.

  2. Choose the reason you are flagging the deal from the available options, including earnings, deal owner, and deal date.

  3. Leave a comment explaining why you are flagging the deal.

  4. Select the admin or manager you would like to notify, and click Add Comment.

Once you flag the deal, an automated email will be sent to the person you selected. They will be able to log in to QuotaPath, view your comment, and respond.

Track the Flag

After flagging, you will see a flag icon next to the deal. If you hover over the flag icon, you will see the last comment. Once the person you flagged the deal to has responded, you will receive an email back and can log in to view their response.

Once the flag has been resolved, the flag icon will change to gray. The historical record is preserved, and you can see the last comment made indicating that the deal was resolved.

How to view Flagged Deals

There are a few ways to view Flagged Deals, whether the deal flag is open or resolved.

For Admins:

  • Set the time filter on the homepage to All Time, then click on the Flagged Deals task bar in the homepage Admin task list. This will take you to the Deals page and show all Flagged Deals.

For Admins and Reps:

  • In the Search Bar at the top of your workspace, use the operators has:flag or has:open-flag. Similarly to the homepage task bar, you will be taken to the Deals page and shown Flagged Deals.

  • On the Deals page, click the Flag column header in the Deals table to sort the Flag column so all Flag deals are at the top. Make sure your other filters in place include Flagged deals.
