Managing Integrations

Learn how to view, customize and manage your integration data

From the integrations page, Admins can view sync status, trigger manual syncs, or go to the integration detail page to manage their integration settings, view integration source data, and create custom fields using your integration source fields.

Integration Cards

After an integration has been setup, a card will appear on the 'Connected Integrations' tab of the integrations page. The integration card will contain the following information:

  1. Source Data Sync Status: The success, in progress, or error status of your source data sync. Learn more about integration syncing in this article.

  2. View Source Data: Link to view your integration source data

  3. Source Data Sync Day/Time: The day and time that a source data sync was last started

  4. Plan Data Refresh Status: The success, in progress, or error status of your source data sync. Learn more about integration syncing in this article.

  5. View Mappings: Link to view your plan data mappings in Mapping Manager

  6. Plan Data Refresh Day/Time: The day and time that a plan data refresh was last started

  7. Sync and Refresh: Manual sync which will start a source data sync and then plan data refresh, including a full re-import of data across all plan data mappings

  8. Manage: Integration detail page to manage integration settings, track sync history, view source data, and create custom fields

Integration Detail Pages

Upon clicking 'Manage' in the integration card, you'll be redirected to the integration detail page, where you can track sync history, manage your integration settings, view integration source data, and create custom fields using your integration source fields.

Learn more about each tab in the integration detail page below.

Sync History

View a log of all your integration syncs in order to track integration performance and troubleshoot integration errors.

Source Data

View your integration source data to understand what data is being imported into your workspace and available to map to your compensation plans in order to generate commission records. Source Data is the full database of all records QuotaPath has ingested. This includes all records that have not mapped to components and have not generated any earnings or attainment.

To view Source Data, first select the object you'd like to view records for, using the Object dropdown above the table.

Validate whether an individual source data record will meet the criteria of a specific plan & component mapping using the 'Analyze Mapping' button.

You can also Pin columns left or right, select which columns to view (or not view), and filter using the triangular icon in the column headers.

Objects

View and edit the integration objects being imported into your workspace.

Members

View and edit your member alignments to ensure QuotaPath members are aligned to the correct corresponding integration user.

Calculated Fields

Create custom Calculated Fields using your integration source fields to use in your plan data mappings. Learn more about creating calculated fields in this article.

Manage Source

Manage your integration settings, including your integration sync frequency, refresh your integration source data, authenticate, or disconnect the integration.

Sync Schedule: You can set the cadence for how often your sync runs automatically. this defaults to every 24 hours but can be set to every hour. If your workspace has an especially high amount of data and takes a significant amount of time to sync, selecting a time frame like every hour may cause slowdowns in the workspace due to your workspace constantly syncing.

Time of first daily sync: if using every 24 hours as your sync schedule, you can set the first daily sync to occur at a chosen time. Most customers choose a time overnight so that the sync is up to date when members or admins log in in the morning.

Data Import Start Date: This is a start date for data you would like to use in QuotaPath. Only records created or updated AFTER this date will be imported. it is recommended to only pull in data you actually need and intend to calculate earnings with to avoid increasing your sync times.

Refresh Data Source: This Refresh button will refresh your source data and your plan data and specifically pull in any net new fields or properties or columns that have been created in your data source. This Refresh button should be used to pull in new fields. The standard sync and refresh button that you see elsewhere in your workspace will not pull in net new properties that you've created. If you have just created a new field that you want to use in a mapping, you'll need to use this Refresh data button to update your workspace data schema. Important: when you click Refresh, be sure that you wait until you get a green success message telling you that the sync has begun.

Re-Authenticate: At times it may be required that you re-authenticate your connection to your Data Source. This is a simple re-entry of credentials and should be done by someone with the highest level of permissions in your data source to ensure all permissions and scopes are granted to QuotaPath. Re-Authenticating will not affect your data in QP. Deals, mappings, earnings and payouts are untouched, unaffected.

Disconnect Integration: Disconnecting your integration will remove deals and mappings. This cannot be undone. The data will be gone and have to be rebuilt manually. Payout records would remain and clawbacks would appear for those payouts, since those payouts will no longer have a deal tied to them. We almost never recommend this action. If you think this may be needed, please talk to Support, or your AM or CSM before disconnecting.
