Disclaimer: Before deleting a Plan, please note IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED to delete a Plan in which the plan assignees have active or historical earnings and payouts. If this plan is no longer active, please see this article on how to archive a plan instead. If you are looking to un-assign a member from a plan, please see this article.
Deleting a plan deletes all of the historical earnings, attainment and unscheduled payout data. All payouts that were scheduled and paid via the plan that you deleted will show as overpaid and prompt you to claw back that money. If you think you need to delete a plan but aren't 100% sure that you will not lose valuable data, please consult your Account Manager first.
QuotaPath cannot fully recover deleted plans, components and mappings for you. We may be able to recover the details of what you deleted, but we cannot fully restore the component and mappings to your plan. Recovery of data and reinstating earnings, approvals and payouts will require a large amount of manual work on your behalf.
To delete a Plan in QuotaPath, navigate to the 'Plans' page in the left-hand navigation.
Go to the Plan you'd like to delete and select the three-dot menu to the right of the Plan name. In the menu, select 'Delete'.
You must type DELETE to confirm you actually want to delete the Plan and all its data.
If you receive an error when trying to delete a Plan, it may be because there are deals that have been manually added into QuotaPath under a member assigned to that Plan. If so, please see this article on how to delete a Deal.
