The QuotaPath MCP gives Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini a set of tools: specific, read-only requests your AI assistant can make to your QuotaPath workspace. You don't call these yourself. Ask your question in plain language, and the assistant picks the right tools.
This page lists every tool available today, so you know what the assistant can and can't see. Not connected yet? Start with Setting up the QuotaPath MCP.
All tools are read-only. None of them can change anything in your QuotaPath workspace.
Plans and configuration
Tool | What it returns | Ask things like |
| All plans in the workspace | "What plans do we have, and which are active?" |
| Details of a single plan: description, components, rates and tiers, accelerators, quota setup, draws, and folder | "Explain the Enterprise AE plan in plain language." |
| Who is assigned to which plan, and when | "Who's on the SDR plan this year?" |
| Which deal fields a plan uses, its filters (which deals count) and payout eligibility rules | "Which deals count toward the AE plan, and why?" |
| How your CRM fields map to QuotaPath fields across the workspace | "Which CRM field do we use for deal amount?" |
Name check: mapping fields the MCP calls custom fields appear as Additional Fields in the QuotaPath app.
People and teams
Tool | What it returns | Ask things like |
| Workspace members, with role and status | "List everyone in the workspace who isn't assigned to a plan." |
| Teams and their members | "Who's on the West team?" |
Quota and attainment
Tool | What it returns | Ask things like |
| Attainment against quota by rep, plan and period | "Show attainment for every AE this quarter." |
| Rolled-up attainment for a person, team or period | "How is the team tracking against quota this quarter?" |
Earnings and draws
Tool | What it returns | Ask things like |
| Earnings by rep, plan and period with payout eligibility | "What did each rep earn last month?" |
| Earnings totals for a person, team or period, payout eligibility | "Total commission earned by team this quarter?" |
| Earnings on a single deal, with an explanation of how the amount was calculated (rate, tier, accelerator, override, payout eligibility) | "Explain how the commission on the Acme deal was calculated." |
| Draws and draw balances | "Who has an outstanding draw balance?" |
Helper
Tool | What it does |
| Gives the assistant QuotaPath-specific guidance on using the tools. You'll never need to ask for it. |
Remember: Ask your question in plain language, and the AI assistant picks the right tools. You don't need to dictate which tools to use.

Payouts and approvals: payout records, payout amounts and approval status. You can see earnings, but not what was paid.
Calculated fields (coming soon!)
Deal and CRM source data beyond what earnings and attainment use.
Making changes: creating or editing plans, quotas, deals or teams. Write access is next on our roadmap.
Known issues (as of Oct. 6 launch)
get_deal_earningson roll-up deals: asking about a single deal that credits a manager through a roll-up can return the rep's row instead of the manager's. Totals fromlist_earningsandget_earnings_summaryare correct. A fix is in progress.Open deals show $0 earnings. This matches the app until you run "Forecast All Pipeline". Forecasts aren't available through the MCP yet.
Overridden deals: on a deal with an earnings override, the per-component breakdown can show the pre-override amounts. The deal total is correct.
Very large plan-assignment lists can be cut short in big workspaces. Ask about one plan or team at a time.
$0 instead of "not on this plan": asking for someone's earnings on a plan they aren't assigned to returns $0. And where a plan has no target set, quota shows as 0.
