The Earnings page provides a detailed view of earnings across plans, components, and deals in QuotaPath. For members who are logging into QuotaPath to view their earnings and attainment, the earnings page is likely the most popular destination.
Admins can use this page to review earnings for any workspace member, making it especially useful during onboarding, period-end reviews, and payroll preparation. From the Individual tab, select View as, then choose the member whose earnings you want to review.
To narrow the results, select Page Filters, Or click on one of the individual pill-shaped filters to filter to your desired deal set based on plan, component or date range. The date options are relative, allowing you to quickly switch between periods such as This month and Last month. Archived plans will still be available for viewing on the earnings page, so be sure to filter those out if you do not wish to view that data.
In the upper-right portion of the header, the Data Sources Synced status checker lets you check when data was last refreshed from your connected data source. Members and Admins can click on this status to confirm when the last sync occurred and how fresh the data is. If a deal was closed since the last sync occurred, it will not show in QuotaPath until the next sync runs.
Note: If your workspace uses custom fiscal periods, the date filters will automatically follow the configured fiscal date ranges.
What are component cards?
Component cards provide a streamlined way to review earnings by plan, quota, and component. You can expand or collapse each card to switch between a summarized view and a more detailed view of the components contributing to your earnings.
The earnings from all displayed component cards are combined into Total Earnings, which appears at the top of the Earnings page. The component cards and Total Earnings reflect the date range and other page filters you have applied. For example, you can select Last quarter to review total earnings from that period and see how much each component contributed.
The earnings graph shows how earnings change over time. Use the View by menu to group the results daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually. This allows you to review broader earnings trends or compare performance across more specific periods, such as week over week or month over month.
Hover over a bar in the graph to view a breakdown of the earnings generated during that period. The breakdown shows how much each component contributed to the total, making it easier to understand what drove your earnings.
Each component is assigned its own color throughout the Earnings page. The same colors appear in the component cards, earnings graph, and Deals table, helping you identify and compare the components associated with each earnings amount.
Below the graph, the Deals table displays the individual records contributing to earnings. Deals are grouped in tables by their QuotaPath stage (defined by your component mappings): Closed/Won, Pipeline, or Closed/Lost. Use these sections to review completed earnings, forecast potential earnings from open deals, or inspect deals that were closed without generating earnings.
The Deals table organizes earnings by deal record. It's important to note that while QuotaPath uses the terminology "deal", you may in fact be mapped to opportunities, sales, line items, or engagements. Each row in the closed won table in QuotaPath is a record from the mapped object that met the mapping criteria. Use the following columns to review each deal and understand its contribution to earnings:
Column | Description |
Date | The date used to associate the deal with an earnings period. |
Locked | Indicates that a manually added deal can only be edited or unlocked by an Admin. |
Source | Shows whether the deal originated from a CRM, API, or manual entry. |
Deals | The deal name. |
Field names | Dynamic values configured through the applicable plan mappings. |
Rate | The blended effective earnings rate applied to the deal. |
Earned | The total earnings generated from the deal. |
Review individual deals
Once you are familiar with the available columns, use the Deals table to review each earnings record. The example below shows how Closed/Won deals display their associated components, earned amounts, effective rates, values, and source.
You can also drop down an individual deal to open the Earnings Detail View. This view provides a detailed breakdown of the values, components, rates, earnings, and applicable tiers associated with the deal. We cover this view in another article, which you can find here.
Additionally, there is a small circle i icon next to the earned amount for each deal record. Click on that icon to view the explanation of earnings for that deal. The explanation of earnings is a simple, easy-to-follow description of how QuotaPath calculated that earnings value.

Deal Actions in the Deal table
The three-dot menu to the far right of each deal record row gives you a few deal action options depending on your permissions in QuotaPath.
As an Admin, you will be able to view the earnings summary, flag the deal, override the deal value, and override the earnings from this menu. If it is a manually created deal, you will be able to edit the deal as well.
As a Team Manager or Member in QuotaPath, you will only be able to flag the deal or view the earnings summary.
Summary
The Earnings page provides a complete view of earnings across plans, components, and deals. Use the page filters to focus on a specific member or period, review component cards and the earnings graph to understand performance, and expand individual deals when you need a detailed calculation breakdown.
