Close Integration Overview

Learn how to connect Close to QuotaPath

QuotaPath's integration with Close allows you to easily import data from your Close account to use in QuotaPath to calculate commissions or inform payouts eligibility.

QuotaPath currently supports two versions of its Close integration: Close 1.0 and Close 2.0. Starting in February 2024, new customers will be automatically onboarded to the 2.0 version.

In this article, we'll cover the requirements to set up both versions of the integration. For more information on the differences between the integration versions and the benefits of upgrading, please review Integrations 2.0.

How to connect Close 2.0

To connect Close 2.0 to your QuotaPath workspace, open Integrations in the Data group of the left-hand navigation (it is not under Settings). If you already have a source connected, you will land on Connected; otherwise you will see Available. Find the Close 2.0 integration card and click ‘Connect’.

Integration Source Form

After clicking 'Connect', complete the following integration source form including selecting the date that you'd like to start importing data from Close and providing your API Key. Click 'Submit' when complete.

After receiving the confirmation that the integration has been successfully connected, click 'Next' to proceed.

Sync Schedule

At the top of the following screen, use the dropdown selector to set the sync frequency. After the source is connected, open the Close card and choose Manage. Sync schedule, objects, re-authentication, and disconnect live on the Manage Source tab. To pull the latest records, an Admin clicks Sync and Refresh on the card or the source page (that action is admin-only).

Objects

Next, select the objects that you'd like to import into your QuotaPath workspace.

When complete, click ‘Sync now’ to begin importing data into your QuotaPath workspace. This could take a few minutes so feel free to close the modal and navigate back to Home to complete any outstanding onboarding tasks. We will send you an email once your integration is ready to use.
